There are 200 FIDE rated players listed in the latest January 2009 release from FIDE. 3 years ago, in Jan 2006 Malaysia has only 121 FIDE rated players.  I think this is quite an achievement for the last 3 years since the official release of FIDE rating 39 years ago.
